Does anyone know how to get a stripped screw out of a wall? Grrrr

  • Unfortunately, you usually have to drill it out. However, sometimes I've just pounded it into the wall and then spackled over the hole.

  • You can buy a kit at the hardware store. It should cost around $5. But you need a power drill to use it.

  • I don't know if the kit is the same thing or not, but my husband has a special bit that you put in the drill and it will bite into the screw and them you reverse it and it pulls out the screw. It's not that complicated if you have a power drill.

  • There is a special bit that you can buy....Sears carries it....I think Lowe's does also. But you have to have a power drill to use it. It isn't just a simple screwdriver.
