Breastfeeding question...

Is it normal for one of your boobs to swell more then the other one??
And is there anyway to even them out??

  • Always alternate or nurse more on the smaller one so it will produce more milk and make it bigger. I did this and I still 3 yrs later have one boob a little smaller..Annoying, but my husband says he can't even notice it.

  • I always fed on the side of the bigger one to try and even things out.

  • My left was always a bigger producer than the right. I alternated nursing on them. There is always the chance that one will stay bigger than the other even after you wean.
    Mother nature's cruel joke.

  • Normal. Offer the smaller side more.

  • Yep. Until you stop nursing there's really no way to even them out. Well i guess there's toilet tissue or gym socks, but that might be rather obvious.

  • Its normal but you have to pump one of them if the baby doesn't breast feed from it.
