Does anyone know of any depression meds that you can take while BF??

  • Most are safe. I believe Zoloft is the most preferred, but almost all are safe. If you have the name of a specific med, I can check into it for you, I have Dr Hale's book.

  • zoloft is "safe"

    they all pass through breast milk though, just varrying in amount... but i think if you have PPD its beneficial to take the drugs, at least it was for me!

  • zoloft is one. but with antidepressants, some are definantly not safe and some are labeled as "does the risk of not taking it out weigh the benefits". a site i look at for meds is
