  • With my 1st I want to say she was about 10 months maybe. I have a 7 month old that I just started randomly every once in a while giving one to her to get used to drinking out of one. I still feed her w/a bottle though.

  • my youngest i don't remember i think it wasn't until 6 months and i had a hardtime taking her off the bottle she was 15 or 16 months old when she finally got off a bottle. With my first I introduced it at 3 months and she took herself off a bottle at 9 months. I ended up having to put formula in her sippy cupsuntil a year old because she wouldn't take a bottle anymore

  • I would say around 5 months when they started to drink juice. I never used a bottel!

  • about 6 months when she could cope with the large flow of fluid from all those holes. Also when she could stick it in her mouth rather than her eye :)

  • I think DD was about 7-8 months old when I got her a soft spout sippy, she saw her big cousin drinking out of one & kept taking it and trying to drink from it.

  • Personally I think it depends on the baby, How are they handling the bottle, you can start introducing as early as 6 months, but, it all depends on the parent as well as the child.

  • I didn't, actually. Both kiddos took straw cups around 6-7 months old.
