What will be on your Thanksgiving table this year? What part of the country are you from?

I thought it would be interesting to see what people put on their tables at Thanksgiving and if the part of the country they are from effects what is on their table.

I'm from the SOUTH! Texas to be exact.

Mine will have:

Appitizers:
Baked, Crusted Raspberry Brie
Rolled Mozarella
Meat and Cheese Tray
Veggie Tray

Turkey
Whipped Sweet Potato Casserole
Broccoli Rice Cheese Casserole
Green Bean Casserole
Corn
Glazed Carrots
Mashed Potatoes
Stuffing
Turkey Gravy
Cranberry Sauce

Dessert:
Pumpkin Pie
Buttermilk Pie
Cherry Cobler
Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Our menu is almost identical to the OPs except no mozzerella, sub out hte buttermilk pie for chocolate cream pie, sub out the cherry pie for pecan pie and we will also have apple cranberry salad and homemade yeast rolls. YUM

    This will all be at my dads house plus whatever else I forgot. A handful of these will be made at my house the day after Thanksgiving to spend with dh's family.

  • I'm going out for dinner! I am retired from cooking Thanksgiving dinners. My girls all go to their dads, and my husband doesn't really celebrate it... so, I get off good.

  • We're scaling down this year, I'm cooking for 12 people. We'll have:
    - turkey breast (none of us like the dark meat)
    - stuffing
    - mashed potatoes & gravy
    - cheesy broccoli rice
    - green bean casserole
    - candied yams
    - homemade rolls
    - pecan pie
    - pumpkin pie

    That's the menu. :) Oh, and we're in Oklahoma.
