do you propose that the government certifies each and every driver as safe prior to leaving the house?

1 in 5000 people will die in a car crash.
1 in 11,000,000 people will die in a plane crash.

You are much more likely to be killed by someone not paying attention on the road, than a terrorist on an airplane.

We can defeat terrorists simply by not becoming terrified.

  • Wouldn't that improve the economy. Just think of all the TSC employees we would need. Hell we would have to bring in foreigners just for that.

  • Lovin--Just think how AWESOME driving on Routes 22 and 78 would be once all of the driver's who fail to get certified are no longer on the road!!! I would support it!! LOL :o)

  • 1. No way to regulate or judge that.
    2. Every person would be on their best behavior to pass the test, once they had their license and no longer being watched is when they'd pick up the bad habits you see out there.

Can't account for every moment on the road. You can be paying attn and still get hit by someone else who wasn't and there's no way to verify if you were or not. You could be watching the light or for pedestrians and not see something else from another direction. There's alot going on sometimes and we're only human.
