Is a pint of cranberries equal to a pound?

I am making a cranberry salad that calls for a pound of cranberries and the cranberries I bought came in 1pint sized cartons.Could anyone help me out?Thanks

    One cup = 0.43 pints [dry]


    1 cup of crans =3.5 oz

  • i doubt it, i have a 12 oz bag in my freezer right now and it is more than a pint container would hold.
