  • I have a good overall cobbler recipe...

    1 stick butter (melted)
    1 c. self rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
2 cans any kind of fruit (can be in syrup or water - must be drained if it is packed in water)

Preheat oven to 350. Grease baking dish. Pour butter into baking dish. Stir flour, sugar and milk together and pour into baking dish. Pour the fruit on top. Do not stir. Bake 35-45 mins. or until the top starts to brown. Serve with ice cream or cool whip.

  • 1 can cherries, not pie, 1 yellow cake mix and 1 stick melted butter.
Pour the cherries in 8x8 pan, pour dry cake mix on, add the melted butter.
    Bake 350 for 45 minutes
