How to get rid of thrush (mouth on tongue)

Already have nystatin from Dr, but it hurts to drink or eat anything. Is there anything else I can do???

  • Yeah...Probiotics!

Thrush is yeast infection. Good bacteria (probiotics) balance yeast.

Also: reduce your sugar intake, yeast loves sugar. You probably have too much yeast throughout your system. Oil of oregano (from a health foods store) will be helpful too.

Hope you feel better soon. :-)

  • I would either call or go back to the doctor and request something else for that.

  • TY all... These are all very good ideas.. Couldn't get this good from the nurse I talked to, or the pharmacist... Just goes to show, sometimes we are smarter than they are.. Huggers

  • Pomagranit juice. Look into doing a candida diet. Thrush is from too much sugar and yeast in the body. Medication won't get to the root of the problem.
