Have you used the seasoning mixes for the slow cooker?

  • I use the McCormick pot roast one and we really like it. Both of our parents always use onion soup mix, but I think the McCormick one has more flavor.

  • I love the lipton onion soup dry mix, on a rump roast it is to die for. This is the receipe. Two packets of dry onion soup mix to 3/4 cup of water, stir and pour over roast and cook on low for 10 hrs. so yummy

  • I like the McCormick packs, but the frozen bags of crockpot meals are terrible.

  • I use 1/2 of the package Lipton onion dry mix with some beef broth and a couple of garlic cloves.
