i have never cooked/hosted a thanxgiving dinner my mom does thank god.

turkey dinnerhow on earth are all these dishes warm when served? with one oven,and one microwave? its mind boggling to me. seems like a ton of work.hats off to all the moms out there who make it happen. happy thanksgiving to all !!

  • we use a roaster oven, microwave and sternos to keep all of our foods warm. i heard on the food network channel that guy firerri sometimes uses his grill to keep food warm.

  • Sternos are those cans of fuel that are lit under buffet dishes to keep food hot.

  • I prepare my turkey first, then while it is covered & resting on the counter, I pop everything else into the oven to warm up. I use covered casseroles so that the hot dishes stay warm until it is all set out & while we are eating.
