  • You can't take an OTC medication to get rid of strep. You'll need to see a doctor.

  • You HAVE to go to the doctors. Untreated strep becomes Scarlet Fever. It is can harm the baby! There is NOTHING over the counter for strep!!!

  • You have to go to a dr. Get a strep test and he'll put you on an appropriate med. There is nothing OTC for strep.

  • If it is strep you'll need antibiotics..The Dr. will know right away. Strep does not go away with ant OTC products, and can be contagious. Hope you feel better soon!
