  • My female dog is GLUED to my side when I"m sick. I think she senses something is wrong.

  • Definitely. We call her our nurse cat, she knows when we're sick and that person will get extra attention.

  • Yes, my cat actually sleeps with me when I am sick and I had a dog groing up that refused to leave my side when I was ill.

  • Not really. They will sleep with me but they do that anyway. They can read me pretty well though. Last year, when my dad died they were my shadow to the point where I was tripping over them. But it was very sweet. The first night I was up all night because I was so upset. I looked down and I had a circle of animals around my feet as I was sitting at my desk on the computer trying to distract myself.

  • I think more when I am cat will not leave my side. The last time one of my boys had a really high fever my dog stayed laying with him and licking his neck and face.
