what are some meal ideas to give my 1 year old?

My son has just turned 1 on the 11th and he's in daycare for 5 days a week. He just switched over to whole milk and I was wondering if someone could give me some meals I could pack. I basically just bring jars of baby food in but im beginning to wonder if that's enough. I have started to give him table food at home its usually what i eat. I usually dont eat 3 times a day. Would giving him whole milk count as a meal along with a snack like cookies or fruit? I rarely use baby food when he's with me. So can anyone please give me some suggestions on what I could replace the baby food with when he's in daycare?

  • Milk alone doesn't count as a meal. I give my 14 month old cubed apples, cubed ham or turkey, and cubed pickles or lettuce for lunch. It varies a lot. My son is strange though b/c he likes to eat plain lettuce and thinly sliced carrots.
