I am a first time mom and I was just wondering, if the baby's head is down at 32 weeks does that mean your going to have the baby early?

  • No, it just means that the baby is head down. That's a GOOD thing!

  • no it does not mean anything. baby's head could be down anytime throughout.

  • Not neccisarily. DS settled, head down into my pelvis at 28 weeks and would not move, lol. He came 3 days early.

  • I am 32 weeks pregnant as well and my baby is breech!! I'm hoping he turns head down soon....otherwise I'm going to have to have a C-section!! Hope your baby stays head down! :)

  • One of mine was head down, then turned again near the end. One was side ways so they scheduled a c-section, and he turned the day the c-section was scheduled.

It doesn't mean much until the last minute,

  • No.
(lol If the baby were breech you'd probably be worried about a cesarean.)

Babies move and turn all the time.
As their heads get heavier, gravity pulls that weight.
    No problem!

  • No...just getting ready!

  • That is normal. For first pregnancies babies drop earlier than second or third time pregnancies.
