how to get static cling outta my fleece pants

my pants are so full of static today!! they're fleece, i don't know what to do!! and its driving me craaaazy!!!

  • Static Guard is my choice in the winter. Love the stuff. It is also great lightly sprayed and allowed to dry on hairbrushes for staticy hair.

  • Static Guard here too. Cheapest I find it is at Walmart. Another tip? Pin a large safety pin to the inside seam (both legs) of your pants or slacks. A dry cleaner told me about this little tip, long before there was Static Guard. I had to wear black dress slacks as part of my work uniform & I hated them climbing up my leg! The safety pin trick worked! I know some ladies who would carry a dryer sheet in their purse. They would run it over their nylons or their legs.

  • I use hairspray and also keep a trial size can in my glovebox.
