my baby's eye is watery

his left eye is always watery. the right one looks fine. i asked his pedi also and she prescribed me a gel to use for 7 days. the eye dust (which used to collect in his eye all the time making it hard for him to open his eye) has gone away. but its still watery. i will ask his pedi again, but just wanted to know a mom's perspective also. anyone has any idea what is causing it ??
he is 3 month old

  • he may have an overproductive tear duct. my dd had that. but she outgrew it after awhile. it was always worse when she was sick. i actually think its a pretty common problem. so good luck. he should outgrow it before he turns one (if its just an overproductive duct)
