Share your families favorite [easy recipe] that you make for them. And it has to be dinner.

Mine is : Potato Casserole.

1 small/medium sized bag of frozen hashbrowns, 1 pint of Heavy whipping cream, Salt, pepper, garlic salt, shredded cheddar cheese (or any kind of blended shredded cheese) and French's Fried onions.

Put a layer of potatoes in a casserole dish cover with desired amt of salt, pepper, garlic salt and anything else you may want to use. Pour the Heaving whipping cream all over, cover that with the cheese (in any desired amt, I like a lot of cheese) cover that with the fried onions. Cover in foil bake for about 35 min @ 375 then uncover and bake for about 5 min. ( I actually like to add the cheese and onions later for that last 5 min so they are fresher)

  • 4 chicken breasts, 2 cups chicken broth, sliced mushrooms, fresh chopped parsley, little bit of salt and pepper. Simmer until chicken is done, around 20 minutes. Easy and healthy.

  • Pork chops in skillet, brown in butter on both sides, add 1 can mushroom soup, and 1 (or 1/2 depending on sodium count) packet dry onion soup mix, stir, cover, simmer for 15 minutes.....yum.

  • Dirty Rice is a family favorite. I make a very healthy version too. Brown a roll of turkey sausage, cook 2 cups of white rice (or brown rice) and 2 boxes of Uncle Ben's plain Long Grain Wild rice. Saute onions and bell peppers. Mix everything together and bake for 25 minutes.
