  • That's a BIG SCAM so that you buy more holiday crap! What's wrong with the basic white ones?

  • No, we try to be as kind to the earth as possible, I have a dish washer, so I really can't complain about doing dishes.

  • We never use paper plates. For the holidays I use my china, crystal and silver. For the other days around the holiday I have the winterberry set from pfaltzgraft. I have three other sets of stoneware for spring, summer and fall.

  • I do use good china for sit down dinners, but will use paper if there are a lot of people or it's a casual luncheon or buffet dinner. That being said, I will usually buy the really sturdy dinner plates (not with special holiday patterns) but I will buy the holiday napkins.
