I'm working on backing Thanksgivings. Well My husband wanted me to make homemade whipped cream but i don't have any heavy whipping cream but i do have heavy cream. Are they same? Can i use heavy cream to make whipped cream

  • Heavy cream is whipping cream, it's also sometimes sold as double cream. Depends on where you live.

  • Yep it will work fine but just whip it before your going to serve it. Not a day ahead.

  • If its whipped too soon, it'll fall flat. I wouldn't recommend whipping until just before serving depending on what you're making and whether it needs to be folded in or used as a topping.
