Can you have period and be pregant?

me n my husband are tryin to have baby n i quit birth control then bleeded for 5 day then 16 days later im bleeding again but it time for my period so im just wonder ing?

  • i bled through my whole pregnancy. baby came out could be your period or just something like me...check with your doctor

  • Technically it's not your period...but it's one reason why my SIL didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth!!!

  • You can bleed when you are pregnant but its not your period. If you had a real actual menstrual cycle when pregnant that would be a miscarriage.

  • I did the same as the others. With my son I had bleeding the first three months and with my daughter it was spotty throughout.

  • Yes, you can have what appears to be a period while you are pregnant. My ex-SIL said she couldn't be pregnant even though you could tell she was, but she insisted she couldn't be because she was still having her period-well, she was pregnant, she found out at about 7 months. You should check with your doctor.
