What is the best way to clean kitchen blinds (not wood)

  • My mom used to take down our blinds and soak them in bleach in the bath tub. Rinse and hang

  • I use the Green works all surface cleaner on ours at home and it works well. At work we use 409. If they are really gross you could mix some borax with water and scrub them with a light cloth and then rinse.

  • I take mine down when I want to really clean them and put them in the bathtub along with some Clorox...they come clean in no time!

  • Yep, the tub-soaking technique works and swish the soapy water around to loosen the dirt.

  • I agree blinds are cheap, just buy NEW! cause of all the greese it will be hard to wash
