School canceled?

So I have had two calls that say school is canceled. Two emails that say there is a two hour delay. Which should I believe? They are both being sent out from the superintendent. So what do you guys think?

  • Check the website of local news channels. But, if they got the same mixed up junk that you did who knows what is right. At least you know it will be at least two hours late so that you can find out for sure in the morning.

  • check the news in the morning or call the school in the morning. You know it is at lease 2 hours so you would have time to call and still get there if it is just 2 hours.

  • Whichever is the latest. There could have been a 2 hour delay that was upgraded to a cancellation.

  • Do they have a website you can check? What time did the emails and calls come in? i would go by whichever one was most recent.

  • Does your local news station scroll school closures in the mornings on snow/ice days? That is usually the best way for us to find out. Trying to call the school when 600 others parents are trying to at the same time is pretty useless.

  • I was going to say check the news channels. They often run them right on the bottom of the screen.

  • The hard part is that they were sent out t the same exact time. First the email then a call and then an email and call at the same time.
