The things you don't notice when you are a kid.

Have you as an adult found it shocking how, scary/dark some of the Christmas specials from back in the day are?
I mean, in Rudolph, Santa is a butt munch!
In ANY Charlie Brown show, the kids are just straight up cruel to him!
The Grinch is freakin scary!
Why didn't I notice this until I watched my own LO's watch these shows LOL?
(while I am bitching, Toy Story 3...dark, scary, let down for me they ended the series this way)

  • i never thought about the shows i watch but i do think about how scary it must have been for my parents when money was tight and bill where do and we kept asking for things......

  • How about how scary Ursula the sea witch is when the big battle between her and Triton happens near the end? My son loved the movie up until that point.

  • HAHA I KNOW!! I had nightmares about the flying monkeys in The Wizard Of Oz for well into my, seriously, I'm still terrified of monkeys.
