How long would you cook a pot roast that is 3.48 pounds for 400 degrees?

  • First of all 400 degress is way to high...the key to a soft, fall apart pot roast is to cook it low and slow and when it starts to fall apart then you know it's done.

  • I would lower the temp. I cook it at 275. I think it would take around 4 hours at 275.

  • You want to slow cook it on a lower temp like 200 and the usually it's an hour per pound.. the longer you cook it on a lower temp the more tender the meat will be.. there are many recepies online and you can see different ways to slow cook it ;)
