are walmart curling iron any good?

i saw the curling iron (the ones which are like a hot rod so you can directly curl your hair) at walmart. i think they were revlon's. their price range started from $7 to $12. has anyone used those ? if yes, how have they worked for you ?

or could you recommend me a better brand? something which is under $50

  • They work as well as any other curling iron. Of course, I still recommend the high end brands, just because I know how much better they are for your hair. Use a hair serum for your hair that does not contain alcohol, never a spray, with it. You can use CHI Silk Infusion or Enjoy Hair and Skin Treatment Oil. These will protect your hair from the harsh heat. I say no alcohol because all that does is further damage when used with heat.
