Help please...cramping

I've got a call in to my maternal-fetal dr office, but they said might be awhile. I'm 14 wks with my 2nd child fyi. I've been having sharp stabbing pain on my left side from under my ribs down to my hip. In between these I feel almost menstrual like cramps from my uterus. It's been going on for a couple hours and I wouldn't be so concerned but I'm high risk and it hasn't gone away with laying down or taking a bath. I'm freaked out...should I be concerned or am i being overcautious?

  • if you're high risk and worried....get your doc on the phone....make sure the recp. knows its an emergency. if you get no help go to the doc off. or emergency room if it persists and/or gets worse.
