  • Just canned food our freezer is too small to stock up on meat, but you do know that meat has an expiration date even in the freezer, right?

  • Changed from what? Since the kids aren't at home? Yes. Since last year, No. We still do as much grocery shopping as we always have. I figure, if worse comes to worse, we always have this dog.....

  • i semi-stock up. we always buy about a year's worth of beef at a time, sometimes pork. cereal i am really stocked up on right now. canned goods i kind of do, when certain veggies are on sale i will buy a bunch, same with frozen. i stock up on things that are on sale that we use regularly.

  • We stock based on sales, but it's nothing new. We've been doing this for years, to the point we rarely "need" to buy anything each week besides fresh produce and eggs. Everything else we only get when it's free or nearly free if we don't have enough to last 3 months.
