No-Sew TuTu's

I'm just starting on my adventure of making TuTu's. Any helpful tips from anyone that has made them before? Any creative tips?

  • Simplest way is to get a one inch wide piece of elastic that fits around the waist comfortably, then cut strips of tulle (or nylon net) double the length you desire plus about two to two and a half inches by one inch wide. You loop/wrap them over the elastic (fold the strip in half and put over the elastic and then pull the ends through the loop and tighten--you will now have two strips of the tulle/netting hanging down for your skirt/tutu). Pretty easy. If you like, you can cut the ends to a point as well.
