  • It will help to have sex when you are ovulating.

The average woman ovulates 12-16 days PRIOR to her period.

  • You have to know your cycle! Do the deed up to 3 days before you ovulate! Normaly you ovulate on day 14, first day is the first day of your period.

  • no it doesnet, you get pregnant when you ovulate, you ovulate in the middle of your cycle. u should get an ovulation test, it gives you your two peak days out of the month to get pregnant

  • no, having sex while on your period or right after your period it will not help. You want to have sex when you ovulate. If you have a 28 day cycle you would ovulate in the mid-cycle which would be 14 days.

  • You do not "normally ovulate on day 14." That is a myth and it only applies to a FEW women who have perfect 28 of which most people do not.

You need to learn to track cervical mucus so you can know when you are fertile. Having sex during your period will do nothing for sure as very few women ovulate directly after their period ends. Most have a 3-5 day gap MINIMUM. I have a 15 day gap.

Not to mention that most people who "got pregnant on their period" were actually experiencing ovulatory bleeding and thought it was a period.

Get the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility and learn to chart CM, CP and BBT.
