Glass ornaments and glitter....any hints?

I bought some glass ball ornaments with the idea that I could roll some glue inside the ball add glitter and let it dry. Wanting to get a nice glittery ball without the glitter on the outside.

Will this work? Have you done it? What was the outcome and any ideas to make it work better?

  • you could squirt the glue in the ball, then use a paint brush to smoothe it around the sides then add the glitter and shake it around

  • i'd use spray adhesive. it would work better than gooey glue.

  • I have made them before, just spread the glue with a paint brush and add glitter and shake, one they are dry the glue is clear and they are really pretty.

  • Plain glue works just fine and doesn't have the smell that spray adhesive does. Spread the glue around inside really well before you add in your glitter.
