TSA security agent accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman, then attempting suicide

http://www.cbsatlanta.com/news/25898312/detail.html

HOGANSVILLE, Ga. -- A TSA employee is accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman in his Hogansville home.

The alleged victim was abducted from the Lakewood MARTA station's parking lot in southwest Atlanta and driven 50 miles south to Randall Scott King’s home.

The Hogansville Police Department are working with the Transportation and Safety Administration and MARTA police.

A TSA representative said King worked at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport since January of 2005 as a master transportation security officer/behavior detection officer.

Investigators said the victim was released after the sexual assault with a suicide note from King and specific instructions for where it should be delivered.

The Union City Police Department contacted Hogansville police early Thursday after the alleged victim went there with King’s suicide note. They contacted Hogansville police to search King's home. He was found inside bleeding from self-inflicted wounds. King was airlifted to Columbus Medical Center for treatment.

How do feel knowing that a person authorized to decide who must undergo additional screening at the airport would kidnap and sexually assault a woman (alleged, of course).

  • Gee reasons why I think they should have an employee list posted on their website so we can check them against the sex offenders list.

  • So doctors and nurses do not? What about the wait staff at restaurants? They could drug your food and then follow you after you leave. Many other fields have just as many opportunities.

  • Obviously, they aren't really checking the people they hire out...really makes it seem like they are so overly concerned with our safety huh?

  • Okay, I've got it.

Adam Savage showed me the way.

I know how to make everyone agree that the TSA is behaving badly. It's Bush's fault. See?

  • Not to take this lightly, but it could have been an employee of any company. The only reason why they're making a big deal out of it is because it's TSA and TSA is news news news.
