What Turkey recipe are you using this year?

I'm still looking. Never done a turkey before, but it's just gonna be the 3 of us..DH, DS, and I.

  • The one on the package. It gives temperature, suggested seasonings, and length of time.

  • Stick it in the oven and cook it until the thermometer says it's done. No seasonings, just butter on the skin.

  • Mine involves a very extensive routine and recipie!

    1) Pre-Heat Turkey
    2) Prepare Turkey by removing from packaging and applying to pan
    3) Open oven door
    4) Insert Turkey
    5) Close oven door
    6) Cook Turkey

    Lol, yes I know.... I'm a master chef. Don't be jealous! lol

  • i did mine yesterday, i poured a can of low-sodium chicken broth over it (did not have any homemade or i would have used that) and a stick of butter, and basted with that every so often. i covered the pan with foil for the first while, cooked it breast down part of the time, and it tasted wonderful and was very moist.
