did anyone use tampons to take care of the blood after a c section?

  • NO THAEY SAY NOT TO UNTIL YOR FIRST PERIOD AFTER HAVING THE C-SECTION.

  • no and your not supposed to put ANYTHING in your vagina at all after giving birth whether vaginal or surgical because of risk of infection (but yes I know those ridiculous pads are extremely annoying and tampons are tempting) also know your flow may vary so you may put in a super tampon because you were experiencing heavy discharge only to discover 8 hours later it still isnt soaked enough to be removed comfortably. That sucks! then ur at risk for toxic shock syndrome. Ride it out it doesnt last long. I was wearing just panty liners by my second week

  • do not do that! the chance of infection is already high, and that just breeds breeds breeds bacteria!!!

  • You can't do that! There's way too much bacteria, don't use them until your done bleeding after the c-section.... usually like at least 4 weeks
