Why would your belly button feel like its burning?

I am 27 weeks pregnant and the other day I got out of my car and OMG felt like I popped my belly button or squeezed something that was there and it hurt so bad. Now its very tender to touch and just burns. What can that be?

  • it is stretching. Rub some vitamin E or cocoa butter lotion on your tummy.

  • Stretching!

Sometimes is feels like burning and will likely be followed by itching. If goo starts coming out of it than i'd call your doctor but if not, it's probably just another joy of pregnancy.

  • Belly button soreness: can actually be quite painful. Belly button pain is caused by the pressure of the expanding uterus on your belly button. It is most annoying at around the 20th week of pregnancy. After that, the tenderness starts to subside.
