2 Bumps

My 4mnth old favors looking to the left, & he avoids eye contact with person holding him, is this normal, or is something wrong?

  • Usually by this time babies are making eye contact...maybe you should consult a pediatrician...

  • Make sure his hearing is OK when you go to the pediatrician.

  • It could be a hearing problem, but don't jump to conclusions, Does he always do it?
    My son was doing it for a while, but it wasn't every time, he would look at me and respond to my movements. You certainly can mention to your peds. but be sure to just monitor at this point. It might be too early to know if something may be wrong.
