Does medicaid pay for a hysterectomy?

I'm in TX, if that helps.

  • Is it medically necessary? If so, then I imagine it would with the right paper work.

  • I agree, if it's medically necessary. If it's for discomfort/fibroids a smaller procedure may need to be done (like removing the fibroids).
