Would Thanksgiving dinner be Thanksgiving dinner if you served Roasted Potatoes instead of Mashed Potatoes?

  • It would still be thanksgiving dinner if you served hot dogs, it is whatever you make it to be. If you love roasted potatoes then make them.
    I think we get so stuck on what is right and what is not that we forget that it is more important as to what is right for your own family, make yourselves happy and don't worry about the rest of the world.

  • We have roasted potatoes every other year. We rotate what's on the menu so it doesn't get old! My son almost had a heart attack when I told him this year I was trying a pumpkin cake instead of pie! LOL

  • I think roasted pts. would be fine. I think I like them better than mashed pts. Make something different each year is fine as well in my book.
