Can you make yourself have pg symptoms from wanting it so bad?

  • Yes, it happens all the time. Just scroll through the pregnancy section here and read all of the "Am I pregnant?" questions. People apparently have symptoms before they even ovulate. What a miracle!
    Yeah, it is fairly common.

  • It is very common. I can vouch for it as I have been one of the ones with 'symptoms' that are not the same as my pms symptoms but I haven't gotten pregnant yet! I also remember reading a story back in the late 80's about a woman who period did stop, her belly did swell and even her hormone levels had the doctor baffled as it was months before they found out that she wasn't pregnant at all, even though they (and she) had been led to believe so for so long! Crazy but true.

  • Yes, unfortunately you can... I have had a friend where this is the case... even her body acted like it was pregnant... cravings, morning sickness, etc. but she wasn't pregnant....
