  • competent. that's all that matters to me. i have had terrible doctors of both genders lol. what i have learned is that my preference doesn't come from their gender, but if i feel i can trust them. if i can't trust them, i find a new doctor

  • I prefer a female OBGyn. I worked in L&D, and the differences (back then 20 years) were amazing. My regular GP is male.

  • My gyno/obgyn is a male. Love him. He is really awesome. I have seen him since I was 18 years old and I trust no one else to deliver my son. A great example: We were discussing more permament BC options for me. He suggested the Mirena IUD. Gave me all the info on it and even suggested I do my own research. Well for six months we discussed this. He was always patient throughout the talks. I finally decided to have the mirena put in. I love it.
