Has anyone had a good experience with work at home employment?

I'm looking for an opportunity in this area, but not sure where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • No not Mary Kay. I know nothing about Avon but Mary Kay is not a good option unless you have a TON of family and friends who will literally support you.

  • Yea! Check out Earnings in a Basket.com There are TONS of jobs listed, & all have been screened, (Quite a few of them by me!) so they're definitely legit. Plus, there are employees to help you find a job that's perfect for you. Hope this helps!

  • I used to do medical transcription from my home. I started my own business. I did this for about five years, then I just started to feel too tied down with it. I like to be able to come and go as I please. I have also had an eBay business, which I really love!

  • I work for a large company who decided that I could work remotely (from home) a year ago, but I have been there 12 years. I have never heard of much success in the direct sales jobs. Sorry...

  • Do you have a former employer you could work for remotely?
You can search for jobs that match you skill set and have a telecommute option.
If you have a computer with high speed internet & Microsoft Office Pro & have at least intermediate MS Office skills, you should be able to find work as a virtual assistant (VA). For more information, go to http://www.ivaa.org/ http://www.iavoa.com/ http://www.vanetworking.com/
Do you have a skill or experience that you can turn into a home based business? I have a friend who makes children's hair accessories in her basement & sells them to boutiques.. My husband runs a handyman business from our home. I work from home with two lines of business; I do freelance bookkeeping & business organization, I also do career and job search coaching; additionally, I handle the business end of my spouse's business, and do medical billing and coding one day a week for one of my bookkeeping clients
