does anyone have a good homemade cranberry sauce receipe?

  • one bag cranberries
    1 cup sugar
    water to cover berries
    add sugar to taste
    boil until thickened

    WE have added orange juice before
    This year we are adding mint
    Fresh jalapeno is good in it as well.

  • lol. that's funny because it's so simple. The base is always about the same then you 'spice it up' lol. I wanted to add that you may have to add water to the mix as well id it cooks down but you berries aren't 'soft' yet. It's more of a simmer than a boil.

  • No, but I have a good recipe for deep fried cranberry for leftover cranberry sauce (the kind from the can)
