What are your favorite praise and worship songs?

I am trying to compile a list of songs for our womens bible study to make some CD's for Christmas this year. Looking for some really srtaight-to-the-soul songs. So far I have:

Trading my Sorrows
He has made me glad
I could sing of your love forever
This is the day
Lord I will lift your name on high
I love you Lord
Shout to the Lord

Any other ideas? Thanks

  • When I was still a Christian, my favorite song was sung by Amy Grant on her Father's Eyes album. That song was track 5 (I think) called O Sacred Head. It was sung acapella and it touched me every time I heard it.
