  • My grandmother believed in Tarot readings, seances, ouija board etc and it scared the hell out of me when I was younger.

  • They work just as well as any other divination practice. I personally love to use them!

  • That depends on what you mean when you say 'believe' in tarot readings. I do my own tarot readings. But I don't believe that the cards predict the future or hold supernatural power. I believe that the cards are a good tool for helping making decisions and help work out problems by providing a random template that allows our minds to place order over chaos.

  • I do, and I don't. I do a daily personal reading every morning as a way to predict how my day is going to go. However, I don't believe life is set in stone. Tarot, like other similar forms of divination can only tell you how things will go IF you don't change your current path.

If for example, I get up and plan my day out and then my reading is not so positive I may be inclined to change my day around so that I can have a more positive outcome... I use the reading as a way to predict how (and if) I should alter my day. Of course sometimes even with an altered day, shit happens...
