Anyone else not like turkey?

What do you prefer? My x MIL used to roast a big chunk of prime rib for Thanksgiving, I'd have to say that's the ONLY thing I miss about going to her house for the holidays, lol

  • Yeah Ive been seeing all these huge chunks of prime rib in the store this week on sale. I just look at them and think what do you do with that, it just seems so big to me! Ive never cooked a peice of meat that big before. I like turkey on Thanksgiving and I like turkey the day after. I like leftovers, for about 2 more days after. Then Im fine if I dont see turkey again for a whole year.

  • Our family aren't big turkey fans. It always seems to turn out dry or Hubby says it smells like "a wet dog"! LOL

  • I dont like turkey AT ALL! We always have some seafood and smoked salmon. This year I am cooking a bird because we have family coming over. I didnt want to have a mutiny! LOL

  • Ohhh smoked salmon sounds good! I like ham too! I'm borderline vegan, so eating meat is an indulgence for me, when I do allow myself to have it, it's gotta be good! @ 5BabyBees..I like to try different cuisines too..what kinds of foods do Lebanese people eat? @ beyondhopes..she had this special roaster for the prime rib, it was on a skewer thingy, she would slow cook it all day, it was soooo tender & good!!!
