I wrap them in pretzel dough and bake them. YUM!
2 cups warm water
1 tbs sugar
1 tbs yeast or one packet
1 tbs salt
5 cups of flour
Warm your mixing bowl for a couple of minutes with hot water. Empty bowl and add two cups of warm water. Stir in sugar and yeast. Let sit for five minutes to let the yeast proof. Add one cup of flour and salt, mix on medium high for 2 minutes. Turn mixer down to speed 2. Add 3 1/2 cups of flour. Let mix until dough pulls away from side of bowl. Feel the dough, you want a dough that is slightly tacky, but not sticky. Add flour 2tbs at a time until tacky.
Roll into a ball, place in lightly greased bowl and cover with a light hand towel, not terrycloth! Turn on oven to 450 for exactly one minute. Turn off oven and put the bowl of dough in the oven and shut the door. Let rest one hour.
