Contracting... Please HELP

started at 8:25pm happened every two min lasting 30seconds until 8:35pm
Now they are 2-3 min apart lasting 45-56seconds.. Each increasing in pain and sharpness, I am also feeling pain in the hips and burning down there.. Is this just the baby getting ready or helping contract or is it just normal.. What would you do?

  • LOL...well, it wouldn't hurt to go down to L&D and see what they say! if your contractions are regular and have been for a while, get your butt down there!

  • well, i was always told to come in once contractions are 2-3 minutes apart for and hour.
my last pregnancy was the first time i had false labor. i would be contracting all day long- painful contractions too, that would be regular for a short time- then they would suddenly stop. once it's been an hour, just go in to L&D. it's okay if you go in and they just end up sending you home. it's happened to me lots of times! good luck!
