the build up to Christmas or the holiday itself?
and the day after its just over and like it never happened, there's not even a gradual wind down. Its just done.
Xmas Day itself is usually over before lunch in my house. I like the build up to it better. Even Xmas Eve has a more magical fun feel than Xmas it self does. The last minute holiday shows, the prep for Santa's coming, the cocoa and cookies. Its all very exciting. On Xmas, its just over in a couple hours and thats that.
