Colic Baby doesn't eat a lot...

Did anyone's colic baby not eat well when they weren't feeling well....

  • ANy baby will not eat well if they aren't feeling well...

    Are you trying to decide if he/she is sick? You would know best. If something is off then call the ped. Eating is generally a good indication of how they feel though.

  • Are you burping the baby enough? Infants need to be burped A LOT! The baby is probably fussy & not eating because he/she is too gassy. Is the baby bottle fed? If so switch to Dr. Browns bottles, they cut down the gas tremendously. Also as you feed the baby, stop often and burp, burp, burp the baby. Either over your shoulder and gently rub & pat the back or on your lap sitting up slowly bouncing on your knee and patting the back. If you are breast feeding it may be from your diet. Try Mylicon drops as directed on the label from the Drug Store. They work very well too.
