What is a good age to start a charm bracelet?

That is one of the most memorable things my mom ever bought me. I want to start one with my girls.

But what is a good age?

  • I am going to get my daughter one for Christmas, she is ten. It also depends on how responsible they are. Something like this you don't want them to lose it.

  • I don't think there is a specific age per-say. I would say when ever you feel they are old enough to take care of it and not loose it. My son is 6 and we got his a cheap $20 MP3 player to 'test' if he was ready to have a good one. lol. He lost it in a about a month! SO we will be holding off on that! I think maturity has more to do with it than age. :0) Good luck!

  • I always loved them. Hubby bought me mine for Christmas about 7 years ago and has gotten me a new charm each year ever since. I treasure it because each one shows he really thinks about what is special to me.
